My thanks to you even if you are “Just Looking”.  You are staying home, I am staying home and raiding my inventory from the last 20 years stored in my condo to list on EBAY so I can make it through this trying time.  My wishes to you for the same.

Dating to the late 1890s to early 1900s, may I offer this gorgeous sterling silver repousse pin tray – pin dish – vanity accessory – featuring a design that includes a lot of florals, fruit, a Bird of Paradise and lots of angels – putti – cherubs.  A nice hefty bit of silver that doesn’t have one square inch of surface unadorned.
Condition: Being vintage, there are light surface marks of use, storage and time – nothing that a professional polish can’t fix. The patina is wonderfully warm and I try to only lightly polish for photos (which means you may be viewing tarnish/dark spots in my photos); the main polish I leave to the new owner as buyers are funny about how they want their vintage silver to look. There are no major defects like dings, dents or ugly blemishes that might spoil the beauty of the silver. You are buying “lightly used” so please do not expect a perfect mirror finish to the silver.  Oh, and there may be polish residue in the cracks and crevices so a light wash is recommended.
Metal Content:  Sterling Silver
Hallmarks: Sterling, 94, Makers Mark that I can’t Make Out (Looks Like a Knights Head over a Shield), Wright Kay & Co (possibly the retailers).
Size:  6-5/8″ x 5-7/8″.  Depth is about 1″.
Weight:  139.2 grams approx
